On the 20th of October, the Irish Hands-on SHAFE project team members presented to visiting delegation (55 persons) as part of the ESF funded Hiliet-Il-Kominita project (https://www.facebook.com/hilietilkomunita/) which is concerned with social mobility and urban regeneration in Valletta, Malta.
The "practice exchange workshop" was hosted by the Dublin team in St. Laurences, a former church within the TU Dublin Grangegorman campus that is used for visitor events.
Hands-on SHAFE took up a large share of the event. Members of the Dublin Hands-on SHAFE project team gave a series of presentations to the visiting delegation about Hands-on SHAFE project, including:

Other presentations were given on the TU Dublin-led Inclusion4EU project (Dr. Dympna OSullivan), TU Dublin community outreach activities (Dr Brian Gormley) and ended with a presentation on initial results from a TU Dublin age-friendly research project about using mobile and IOT technology to encourage older people to engage in outdoor exercise activities (Ms Fatima Badmos).
